WHAT TO EXPECT
PECS EDUCATION is a trans masc, non-binary strength and conditioning class. We lift weights and use bodyweight movements in order to condition and tone areas of the body that trans folk may be experiencing dysphoria with, primarily focusing on upper body strength. This is an open and safe forum to discuss our trans bodies. If you're looking for somewhere to talk through hormone use and the impact of taking T on your body, or even somewhere to share lived experience of being trans, this is it.
We have two classes on Saturday at Basis.
Pecs Fundamentals from 12:15pm - 1:15pm.
This class is for those who are brand new to strength training, recovering from surgery, or just new to Pecs Education. We will run you through everything you need to know at a slower pace, don't worry it will still be a strong work out.
Pecs Education from 1:30pm - 2:30pm.
This class is for those who have been lifting with Pecs Education for a while. We focus on one compound lift and introduce new skills in this session, be ready for a sweaty and strong work out!
